Congratulations to the Seven Centralians who successfully passed the 2026 PAM Microbiologists Certification Exam! Publication materials courtesy of CPU Biological Society.

Seven graduates and alumni from Central Philippine University successfully passed the January 2026 PAM Certification Exam for Registered Microbiologists. The results were announced on the official Facebook page of the Philippine Academy Microbiology Inc. last March 31, 2026.

Among the successful examinees are two graduates from the BS Biology Batch of 2024, Katrina De Leon and Jay Ann Calaguio, and five from Batch 2025: Elijah Precious Escalona, Jan Dawn Javellana, Ermfred Carl Pineda, Denise Joy Regalario, and Karen Aira Tamdang.

The licensure examination was held on January 17-18, 2026, at the SMX AURA Convention Center in Taguig City. Out of 813 examinees, 333 successfully passed including the seven newly registered CPU Microbiologists.

The Registered Microbiologists (RMicro) certification is administered by PAM and granted to individuals who pass a comprehensive exam covering basic microbiology, microbial psychology, ecology, virology, and a chosen elective field.
