In celebration of Earth Month, the Province of Arts and Sciences Student Council (PASSC) successfully held the PAG-ISA Project 2: Earthroots: Growing Awareness, One Tree at a Time last April 18, 2026 at Barangay Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo—bringing together purpose, people, and the planet in a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.

The initiative featured the planting of more than 50 mangrove trees along designated coastal areas, contributing to environmental restoration and coastal protection efforts. In addition, participants also engaged in a coastal clean-up drive, reinforcing the importance of reducing marine waste and protecting coastal ecosystems. The program further emphasized education and awareness through a symposium focusing on tree planting sustainability, waste assessment, and brand audit. These discussions reinforced the importance of informed and collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
