College of Business & Accountancy’s Student Council end a night of music, caffeine, and camaraderie with a picture taking at the Grandstand last April 11, 2026.
Grooving their way through the night, the College of Business & Accountancy Student Council lit up the Grandstand with music and dance last April 11, 2026. With the theme anchored on disco, “CBA Music Fest 2026” featured performances from CBA’s very own Paragon Studios (Band and Dance) and alumni DJ Hennuel.
Commencing with an invigorating icebreaker, Vice Governor Blanche Faith Maragarete hosted the event, followed by an opening prayer led by Ember Senatin. From the free coffee, a photobooth, and a dance floor, the music festival was an avenue to bring the community together before the school year came to a close.
“The event was specially prepared to showcase and highlight the talent of our very own CBA students,” Governor Beatrice Novie Lozada stated. Paragon Studios was the college’s umbrella group for band and dance. Having bagged awards at the University-wide Centralian Fest 2026 (Champion and fourth place respectively), they now return to play for their home court, not as competitors but as student artists cultivating fellowship. With performances from Taylor Swift to December Avenue, Paragon Studios rocked the night away. DJ Hennuel capped off the event with a set that remixed global culture with local productions.
DJ Hennuel Cardinal, a former board member and CPU alumnus, performs a set during the event.
But beyond the music, Governor Lozada noted that the festival was an opportunity for the community to “enjoy… and appreciate talents” before preparations for final examinations claimed their time.
As the stage was eventually dismantled and disco lights carried away, the Music Fest 2026 left fond memories for its attendees, as intimate as it may be. In the busy, often stressful life of Business and Accountancy students, the night was a reminder that there is always room for art, for dance, and for one another.
