Excellence has once again placed Dr. Jonathan Anotado Gapilango, DNP, MMIN, RN, NE-BC, OCN, CCRP, FNYAM, on the global stage as he was appointed Fellow by Examination of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery (FFNMRCSI) at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI).
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduate of Central Philippine University (Class of 1993) and an Adjunct Faculty member of the Central Philippine University College of Nursing, Dr. Gapilango continues to bring honor to his alma mater through his outstanding achievements in nursing leadership, education, clinical practice, and research.

This distinguished fellowship is awarded only to registered nurses and midwives who have demonstrated exceptional excellence in clinical practice, leadership, education, and research through a rigorous assessment process. Dr. Gapilango will formally receive the fellowship during the Conferring Ceremony on December 7, 2026, in Dublin, Ireland.
His achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a proud moment for Central Philippine University, the Philippine nursing profession, and Filipino nurses worldwide, affirming that excellence rooted in faith, service, and lifelong learning can make a lasting impact on global healthcare.
