On July 11 2026, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, the Central Philippine University
Senior High School community holds its General Orientation with the theme “A Decade of Soaring: At Sunrise, Steelhawks Take Flight”. Organized by the SHS Provincial Council, the event set a celebratory tone welcoming learners to the new academic year, aiming to familiarize them with services and foster a strong sense of belonging.
The program opened with a welcome speech from Incoming Officer-in-Charge Ma. Lindy Saquibal, followed by an inspiring message from former CPU SHS Student Council Governor Beneil L. Caperocho, who encouraged everyone to embrace their role in the school’s growing legacy as Steelhawks and build meaningful bonds within the community.
Adding excitement to the gathering, the HUMSS, ABM, and STEM Republics introduced their respective Republic Heads and competitively led their cheers and yells. Right after, the CPU Republic was formally presented to further strengthen school spirit and unity. The event concluded with the official introduction of the Student Council, alongside the Staff Guild and Lawin Productions, marking a successful and memorable start to the school year. Board Member Xandrei Zekeille Gan led the event as chairperson. The program was hosted by Jerusha Meryll Osorio and Fred Nicolai Arandela.
