On August 6, 2026, the CPU Project ETC under the Community Engagement and Service-Learning Center (CESLC) successfully delivered and turned over one-month food supplies to its three adopted elementary schools.
The activity covered Badiang Elementary School in Brgy. Badiang, New Lucena; Iloilo River Plains Integrated School in Brgy. Lanit, Jaro, Iloilo City; and Tapikan Elementary School in Brgy. Tapikan, San Joaquin. The delivery included a full month supply of carbohydrate-rich staple foods intended to support the daily needs of the learners.
Parents, teachers, and students received the food supplies during the turnover. The activity showed strong cooperation among school partners and community stakeholders in supporting the nutritional needs of the children.
The total amount of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 200,000.00) for the month of August was donated by an alumna of the College of Nursing, Dr. Anecita C. Seisa and her family. The donation was specifically allocated for food supplies that supported the feeding program of the partner schools.
The CPU-CESLC handled the logistics of the program, including the preparation, coordination, and timely delivery of the goods to each recipient school. The team ensured that all supplies were properly accounted for and delivered on schedule.
The School-Based Feeding Program continued to strengthen its goal of helping learners improve their health, attendance, and school participation through proper nutrition. The activity also reflected the ongoing commitment of CPU and its partners to serve communities and support child development through simple but meaningful assistance.
