Invited guests demonstrated cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques to NSTP students during the Basic Life Support training session at the University Gymnasium.
Central Philippine University National Service Training Program (CPU NSTP) conducted Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions for its students on September 19 and 26, 2026, focusing on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and bandaging techniques.
The September 19 session focused on CPR, with CWTS students participating in training activities at the Rose Memorial Auditorium and University Gymnasium, while ROTC students underwent training at the Alumni Promenade Concert Park (APCP).
NSTP students participated in a hands-on demonstration on proper bandaging techniques during the Basic Life Support training session.
At the Rose Memorial Auditorium, the session was facilitated by John B. Cobarrubias and Rey Dongon. Cherrymay Gersaba, Everick Paul Bedonia, and Kenny Lauren Epelipcia facilitated the training at the APCP, while Lance Angelo Baldonado, Joerey Porras, and Julius Ivan Dideles handled the session at the University Gymnasium.
The BLS training continued on September 26 with a session on bandaging at the Rose Memorial Auditorium.
The training provided NSTP students with practical instruction in basic emergency response, equipping them with skills in CPR and proper bandaging techniques that may be applied when responding to emergencies and assisting individuals who require immediate care.
