Central Philippine University’s National Service Training Program conducted a campus clean-up drive on April 11, 2026, as part of its Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) activities.

NSTP students participated in the initiative, clearing waste, sweeping pathways, and maintaining cleanliness across different areas of the campus. The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness and instill discipline and responsibility among participants.

The clean-up drive was facilitated by NSTP instructors namely: Anya Mae Malumog, Pamela Lactupo, Rona Cenal, Shirley Dario, Mark Clemens Ortaliz, and Rushelle Joy G. Celerian.

Students were grouped and assigned designated areas to ensure an organized and efficient implementation. Group supervisors were also appointed to monitor progress and task completion.

CWTS, a component of the NSTP, focuses on programs that contribute to community welfare and development. Activities such as the clean-up drive encourage students to engage in environmental stewardship and community service.

The initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote civic consciousness and volunteerism while maintaining a clean and conducive learning environment.
