On June 19, 2026, Central Philippine University (CPU) participated in the 20th Founding Anniversary celebration of Tra Vinh University (TVU) and the 25th Anniversary of the implementation of the community college model in Vinh Long Province, Vietnam.
Representing CPU at the milestone celebration were Dr. Aries Roda D. Romallosa, Acting Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, and Ma. Christina A. Quijano, Dean of the College of Computer Studies. Their participation highlighted the University’s continuing partnership with TVU and its shared commitment to advancing research, extension, and international cooperation.

Dr. Romallosa expressed CPU’s gratitude for the invitation, describing the occasion as an opportunity to witness TVU’s achievements and its continuing contributions to higher education in Vietnam and beyond. She underscored the importance of strengthening international partnerships that foster knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and mutual institutional growth. She also extended CPU’s congratulations to the administrators, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders of Tra Vinh University, expressing hope that the milestone would serve as a foundation for even greater accomplishments in education, research, innovation, and community development.
CPU’s participation in the anniversary celebration reflects the University’s continuing efforts to strengthen global partnerships and expand opportunities for collaborative research, extension, and academic exchange with international institutions.
