Scholarship donors receive certificates of appreciation during the Scholarship Awarding and Recognition Program for SY 2026–2027.
On October 5, 2026, Central Philippine University (CPU) held its Scholarship Awarding and Recognition Program at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, organized by the Student Development and Programs (SDP) Office.
The program opened with an invocation led by Pastor Neva Grace L. Fabila, Associate Pastor for Campus Ministry, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Alma Mater Song led by Prof. Sheila A. Java, faculty member of the Junior High School.
University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivers the welcome remarks during the Scholarship Awarding and Recognition Program.
Dr. Praise Enriquez-Glory served as the emcee, while Pastor Alfred C. Morales, Director of the SDP Office, acknowledged the donors, guests, and scholars. University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivered the welcome remarks.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to scholarship donors by Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Florence P. Bogacia, Vice President for Finance and Enterprises; and President Dagohoy, with Pastor Morales assisting.
The university recognized support from individuals, alumni associations and chapters, government agencies, foundations, families, businesses, professional groups, churches, university organizations, and other benefactors.
Scholars pose for a photo after the program, holding their certificates.
The assistance covered private and government scholarships, university and academic scholarships, grants-in-aid, entrance scholarships, tuition assistance for dependents, performing arts scholarships, and athletics scholarships.
The program also featured a solo performance by Shyra Asister, while Robby Arnillo delivered the response on behalf of the scholars and led the Scholars’ Pledge of Commitment.
The event concluded with a prayer for the scholars and benediction led by Pastor Justine P. Mije, Associate Pastor for Campus Ministry.
