The CPU and FCU Faculty/Staff Men’s Basketball Teams pose for a photo opportunity after their friendly match at the FCU Gym in Roxas City.

The Central Philippine University (CPU) Faculty/Staff Men’s Basketball Team faced the Filamer Christian University (FCU) Faculty/Staff Men’s Basketball Team in a friendly match on September 11, 2026, at the FCU Gym in Roxas City as part of FCU’s 122nd Foundation Anniversary.

The CPU team was composed of Jaruis John P. Adaya, Sunlight P. Alog, Alexander Jude G. Balladares, Alerton Custorio, Hardy Dabuco, Raphy Q. Dario, Rey Dividina, Stephen John P. Espinosa, Albert C. Galas, Daniel Ian Z. Gequillana, Rodolf Francis C. Hisug, Mark Japhet P. Luceño, Rolando C. Oro, Joemarie C. Taclas, Alex Andrew C. Mendame, and John Dale D. Paciente.

The friendly match provided an opportunity for faculty and staff members from the two Christian institutions to engage in sports and fellowship. CPU secured the win, 57–51, over FCU at the end of the game.
