Central Philippine University (CPU) and Filamer Christian University (FCU) employees’ basketball teams faced each other in a friendly match as part of CPU’s 121st Foundation Day celebration, themed “Central Spirit: Uniting Generations,” on October 1, 2026, at the CPU University Gym.

CPU secured a 96–87 victory over FCU in the game.

The match marked another friendly encounter between the two institutions following their previous meeting on September 11, 2026, at the FCU Gym in Roxas City, held as part of FCU’s 122nd Foundation Anniversary.

In the earlier game, CPU also emerged victorious, defeating FCU, 57–51.

The two matches provided employees from both universities an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie, build fellowship, and connect through sports beyond their respective campuses.
