A proud milestone celebrated together as our new Electronics Engineers and Technicians take the stage with faculty and leaders at the PRC Oath-Taking Ceremony.

On June 27, 2026, the Junior Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines – Central Philippine University (JIECEP–CPU) was invited by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) to assist in the successful conduct of the Oath-Taking Ceremony for the newly licensed Electronics Engineers (ECEs) and Electronics Technicians (ECTs) who passed the March 2026 Licensure Examinations. The ceremony was held at the Belmont Hotel, Festive Walk Road, Iloilo Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The event formally welcomed the new professionals into the electronics engineering profession while recognizing individuals and institutions that achieved outstanding performance in the March 2026 Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations.

Among the institutions honored during the ceremony was Central Philippine University (CPU), which was recognized as the Top 1 Performing School in the March 2026 Electronics Technicians Licensure Examination in the category of schools, colleges, and universities with 20 to 99 examinees. CPU achieved a 96.97% passing rate, reflecting the strong academic preparation and dedication of its Electronics Engineering students.

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Iloilo and the Professional Regulatory Board of Electronics Engineering awarded Central Philippine University a Plaque and Certificate of Recognition during the ceremony. Representing CPU were Engr. Yeseil S. Sacramento, Program Chair of the Electronics Engineering (ECE) Department, and Engr. Marian Mie A. Alimo-ot, faculty member and adviser of JIECEP–CPU, who formally accepted the Plaque of Recognition on behalf of the university.

Engr. Yeseil S. Sacramento and Engr. Marian Mie A. Alimo-ot proudly accept a Plaque and Certificate of Recognition from the PRC Board of Electronics Engineering and IECEP – Iloilo Western Visayas Chapter.

This significant accomplishment highlights the unwavering commitment of the CPU Electronics Engineering program to excellence in engineering education, professional development, and student success. It serves as an inspiration to the university’s faculty, staff, and students to continue striving for academic excellence, professional competence, and remarkable achievements in future licensure examinations.
