Centralians, lace up and be part of the Central Spirit Run 2026! Join fellow Centralians, runners, and community members on October 3 as we celebrate fitness, camaraderie, and Centralian pride. Choose your challenge—10 KM, 5 KM, or 3 KM—and run for a cause as we come together in celebration of the Centralian spirit.
Central Philippine University (CPU) and the CPU Alumni Association, Inc. (CPUAAI) are inviting Centralians, runners, and members of the community to participate in the Central Spirit Run 2026, a fundraising activity forming part of the CPU Grand Alumni Homecoming 2026 on October 3, 2026.
With the Grand Alumni Homecoming scheduled for September 28 to October 4, 2026, the Central Spirit Run will bring participants together in a celebration of fitness, endurance, camaraderie, and Centralian pride.
Open to all runners, the event features 10-kilometer, 5-kilometer, and 3-kilometer categories, allowing participants to choose a distance suited to their preference and fitness level. The assembly time is set for 4:00 a.m. on October 3.
Registration fees are ₱999 for 10 KM, ₱599 for 5 KM, and ₱399 for 3 KM, exclusive of applicable transaction and convenience fees. Each registered participant will receive a race shirt, finisher’s medal, and race kit.
Beyond promoting health and fitness, the Central Spirit Run will also serve as a fundraising initiative. Proceeds will support the CPU Resource Generation Campaign for the construction of the Law and Medicine Building and the Endowment Fund for CPU Athletes.
The run is among the activities lined up for the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2026, which carries the theme “Central Spirit: Uniting Generations,” inspired by Psalm 100:5. The week-long celebration will bring together alumni from different generations for fellowship, shared memories, and activities that highlight the enduring Centralian spirit.
Those interested in joining the Central Spirit Run 2026 may register through the official race registration portal at https://centralspiritrun.veent.net.
As Centralians prepare to come home for the Grand Alumni Homecoming, the Central Spirit Run offers another opportunity to reconnect, stay active, and contribute to initiatives that support the University and its community.
