CPU brings College Aptitude Test closer to prospective students in Palawan and Koronadal

Aspiring first-year students, scan the QR code to pre-register for the CPUCAT on September 5, 2026, at Palawan Hope Christian School, Puerto Princesa City, with testing sessions at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Central Philippine University (CPU) announced on August 6, 2026, through the University’s official Facebook page and website, the schedule of the CPU College Aptitude Test (CPUCAT) for aspiring first-year college students seeking admission to the University for School Year 2027–2028.

As part of the testing schedule, CPU will conduct off-campus CPUCAT sessions in Palawan and Koronadal City to provide prospective students outside Iloilo with access to the University’s admission examination closer to their respective areas.

The CPUCAT will be administered on September 5, 2026, at Palawan Hope Christian School along Manalo Street, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. Testing sessions are scheduled at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.


Aspiring first-year students, scan the QR code to pre-register for the CPUCAT on September 26, 2026, at Koronadal National Comprehensive High School, with testing sessions at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Another off-campus testing schedule is set for September 26, 2026, at Koronadal National Comprehensive High School along Dr. Jose Rizal Street, Zone 1, Koronadal City. The test will likewise be offered at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Applicants are reminded to bring the required examination materials and documents, including a school ID, passport, or any valid identification card, as well as a No. 2 pencil with an eraser. The CPUCAT testing fee is ₱450.00, which is non-refundable.

The off-campus testing schedules are part of CPU’s efforts to make its college admission process more accessible to prospective students outside Iloilo, allowing them to take the entrance examination closer to their respective areas.
