Central Philippine University (CPU) alumnus Engr. John Patrick E. Casipe, a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering graduate (Batch 2020), was recognized as the Outstanding Agricultural and Biosystems Engineer (Private Sector) during the Annual National Convention of the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers (PSABE), held in Koronadal City, South Cotabato from April 19 to 24, 2026.
Engr. Casipe currently serves as a part-time faculty member in the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Sciences under the College of Agriculture, Resources and Environmental Sciences (CARES). He is also the General Manager and a member of the Board of Directors of Ina Farmers Learning Site and Agri-Farm Inc.
The recognition was conferred during a milestone gathering in Koronadal City, which marked the formal launch of the 37th Philippine Agricultural Engineering Week, the 75th PSABE Annual National Convention, and the 22nd International Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering Conference and Exhibition at the City Hall.
Led by PSABE Region XII, the convention brought together engineers, industry experts, and future professionals from across the country in the SOCCSKSARGEN region, reinforcing efforts to advance the field of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering.
Engr. Casipe’s achievement reflects his strong commitment to his profession and the meaningful contributions he continues to make in the field. It also shows the growing presence of Centralians in both industry and academe. The university takes pride in this milestone, which adds to the continuing success and accomplishments of its alumni.
