The College of Hospitality Management (CHM) achieved remarkable success at the SIGRAB Film Festival 2026, held on April 17, 2026, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium, Central Philippine University. The entry titled “Sa Mga Panganod” brought pride to the college by winning the prestigious Special Jury Award.
Aside from the major award, CHM also secured top honors in various categories. Subica Kyle Lataquin was named Best Actress, while Chiara Belle Cabiten received the Best Director award. The team also took home the Best Editing award, with Shanley Joy Villa earning a nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
These victories highlight the exceptional talent and creativity of CHM students in the field of filmmaking. The awards serve as a testament to their hard work, dedication, and artistic excellence.
The recognition did more than bring home trophies—it showcased the college’s versatility and inspired students to pursue their passions beyond their chosen fields of study.
