Centralian Girl Scouts strengthened their skills, confidence, and friendships through a week of fun, challenges, and meaningful learning at the provincial camp.

Centralian Girl Scouts joined the 69th Iloilo Girl Scout Council Camp held last September 3–7, 2026 at Camp Pasica, Dingle, Iloilo, with the theme “S.P.A.R.K – Strengthening Potential through Action, Resilience, and Kindness.” This annual provincial council camp is one of the most anticipated events in Girl Scouting.

The encampment featured a range of activities including Laro Ng Lahi, Cave Exploration, Adventure Games, Cook-Out, Arts and Crafts, Challenge of Preparedness, and Choice Activities.

Central Philippine University was represented by 12 Junior Girl Scouts from the Elementary Department and 8 Senior Girl Scouts from the Junior High School Department, alongside one Adult Leader for each troop.

During the Closing Ceremony, Junior Girl Scout Ryenne Isibeal Marquillero was given the opportunity to share her reflection on behalf of her Sub-Camp.

“During our stay at the camp, we participated in many exciting and challenging activities. These activities gave us strength, courage, and confidence to face every challenge, even when things did not go as planned. We learned to be resilient and find solutions to problems,” Ryenne shared.

“Overall, the 69th Council Camp taught us to take action, face challenges with resilience, and show kindness to others. We will go home with wonderful memories, new friendships, and valuable lessons that we will carry with us as Girl Scouts. This camp helped us discover our potential and become better Girl Scouts.”

Though the camp may have ended, the learnings and experiences of each Girl Scout carry on. Once a Girl Scout, always a Girl Scout.
