Congratulations to Centralian Rhaylen Kea Cautivar Sitoy, BSEE 2026, for being named Most Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student in Region 6 and one of the four finalists for the Most Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student in the Philippines Award!
Rhaylen Kea Cautivar Sitoy, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering batch 2026, brought pride to Central Philippine University (CPU) after being named the Most Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student in Region VI during the 24th National Student Convention Dagitab Awards on November 25, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
Organized by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. – Council of Student Chapters (IIEE-CSC), the awards recognized outstanding electrical engineering students and student chapters from across the country.
Sitoy was also among the four awardees and finalists for the Most Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student in the Philippines Award (MOEESA), placing her among the finalists recognized at the national level.
Adding to the achievement, the electrical engineering student organization she led as president was one of seven schools recognized for the Most Outstanding Electrical Engineering Student Chapter Award (MOEESCA). CPU was the only recognized school from Region VI.
The individual recognition was later acknowledged during the Awards and Recognition Program of the College of Engineering as part of CPU’s 2026 commencement exercises.
For Sitoy, however, the recognition goes beyond the medals and certificates.
She shared that her achievements were driven by her passion and love for engineering, while expressing gratitude to God, her family, teachers, seniors, and colleagues whose support and guidance helped her throughout her journey.
“Receiving medals and certificates is meaningful, but what matters most is knowing that I pursued these achievements because of my passion and love for Engineering,” she said in an online interview.
She hopes that her journey will encourage fellow Centralians to pursue what they are passionate about, remain purposeful in their pursuits, and give their best in everything they do.
As she moves forward, Sitoy carries with her the recognition she earned, the people who supported her, and a message for fellow Centralians: pursue your passion with purpose, and give your best in everything you do.
