A total of 563 examinees are taking the 2026 Bar Examinations at the CPU Senior High School Building, with the final day scheduled for September 13, 2026.

Central Philippine University (CPU) is accommodating 563 examinees for the 2026 Bar Examinations, with the first two examination days completed and the final day scheduled for September 13, 2026.

CPU, the sole Local Testing Center (LTC) in Western Visayas for this year’s Bar Examinations, is one of 15 LTCs nationwide designated by the Supreme Court’s Office of the 2026 Bar Examinations. This marks the University’s fourth time to serve as an LTC, following its designation for the #GetThatBar2022, #BarNiJLo2024, and #AMYingForExcellence Bar Examinations.

The Supreme Court reported on September 6, 2026, that 13,441 examinees were admitted taking this year’s Bar Examinations, with 12,029 present across the 15 LTCs nationwide. Of those who took the examinations, 45.9% were new examinees, 29.5% were previous takers, and 24.6% were refreshers.

Women comprised the majority of examinees, with 6,773 or 56.3%, while men accounted for 5,256 or 43.7%. The youngest examinee is 24 years old, while the oldest is 84.

The first day of the examinations on September 6 covered Political and Public International Law, which carries a 15% weight, and Commercial and Taxation Laws, which accounts for 20%.

The second day, held on September 9, covered Civil Law and Land Titles and Deeds, with a 20% weight, and Labor Law and Social Legislation, which carries a 10% weight.

The final day on September 13 will cover Criminal Law, which carries a 10% weight, and Remedial Law, Legal and Judicial Ethics, with Practical Exercises, which accounts for the remaining 25%.

With two examination days completed, the 563 examinees at CPU are set to return to the University on September 13 for the final day of the 2026 Bar Examinations.
