USM-KCC representatives were warmly welcomed by the CPU administrators and officials headed by the CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy.

On April 29, 2024, the University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City Campus (USM-KCC) embarked on a benchmarking visit to Central Philippine University, spearheaded by Ian Leo S. Domingo, International Affairs and Linkages Director and Engr. Sheila Bautista, PPDO Director.

The visiting team also paid a courtesy call with CPU President Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy at the CPU Administration Building together with Engr. Dany C. Molina, CPU Vice President for Administration; Dr. Esther Rose A. Romarate, CPU Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Irving Domingo L. Rio, CPU Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Florence B. Bogacia, CPU Vice President for Finance and Enterprises.

The group started their benchmarking activity together with CPU officials and representatives from various departments after exchanging gifts. A series of question-and-answer segments were also answered by the CPU representatives to facilitate guests’ active involvement and healthy information exchange.

The benchmarking session served as a platform for substantial exchange and learning through engaging discussions. The visiting team was able to learn the best practices of CPU in terms of education, engineering, research, publication, and international collaborations.
