Unto the international level – The Team SEntralians (Centralian Software Engineering students) leaves today June 22, 2023, to compete in the PolyHack 2023 competition, at the Hong Kong PolyTechnique University. Rafael Prudente III (CPU Software Engineering) received the invitation for the team.  At the same time, the international organization congratulated them on their remarkable achievement “of successfully advancing to the final round of the highly anticipated PolyHack 2023” which will be held on June 24 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM (HK Time). The team’s innovative project will be showcased to a distinguished panel of judges.

The SEntralian team has been joining PolyHack competitions all over the Philippines, and international online competitions. They lately garnered 2nd place in the popular Microsoft Imagine Cup competition in Manila.

“The challenge was the very reason that has led us to join various competitions that challenge our knowledge and creativity,” Prudente said. He added that “We are grateful for the full support of the CPU administration, with the VPFA, VPSA, SDP, and the President’s Office; the CPU Engineering Dean, Engr. Danny Molina and the faculty of Software Engineering. We look forward to realizing our dream of bringing home the rewards.”
