Ms. Liu’s English name is Jessica, and she learned a lot about Iloilo and Filipino culture during her stay here. Last March 6, she celebrated her birthday with her newfound friends. During her stay in the Philippines, Jessica made a lot of friends and was able to adapt some Filipino traits, such as “Filipino time.”

According to Jessica, her unforgettable experience during her stay here was the scorching weather that Filipinos have. She was also able to try the famous Ilonggo Batchoy at Central Market and join the Manggahan Festival at Guimaras.

Jessica arrived in the Philippines on February 25 and went back to Taiwan on May 24, 2023. She was assisted by the student intern from the CPU Local International Linkages and Affiliations Center.
