The PAF-CESL and support participants, behind the Trash Bins donated by the Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 6.

On January 20, 2023 the Philippine Air Force (PAF) Tactical Operations Group 6, donated 12 Trash Bins for CPU, through the CPU Community Engagement and Service Learning Center, (CESL). The activity which is a part of PAF community outreach and biodiversity advocacy program was participated by CPU CESL Center, CPUAAI, CPU ROTC Unit and CPU Building and Grounds Personnel.

The partnership activity included the Brigada Eskwela Cleaning at the Green Tunnel and planting of Narra trees near CPU’s 3rd Gate. Atty. Jeremy Bionat, CPUAAI President donated the Narra planting materials to the PAF and gave a short lecture on Environmental Conservation.

Group Commander LTC Ramedinthine C. Tolentino, expressed a desire to partner with CPU in other future endeavors. He said that, “Our group promotes advocacies through outreach project, such as this donation of trash bins which we have initially done –in partnership with Central Philippine University.”

PAF has other outreach projects that can be partnered with CPU – including ecological and environmental protection, Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) operations and other socio-economic development activities.
