Hans Grabriel Daduya, a Full Stack Engineer with experience in Web and Mobile Development mainly in React, React Native and Typescript.

Hans Daduya, a fourth-year Software Engineering student at Central Philippine University (CPU), is making significant strides both academically and in the realm of sustainability. Recently crowned Mr. CPU 2024, Hans is also the innovative mind behind Unihub, a platform revolutionizing how students buy and sell secondhand items. With over a thousand registered users, Unihub is not only fostering a culture of environmental consciousness but also offering practical solutions for students to declutter and save money.

Daduya’s innovative approach leverages technology to promote positive change, demonstrating the significant impact a single student can have on the broader community. Unihub not only provides a practical solution for reducing waste but also fosters a culture of reusability and responsible consumption among the student body.

The success of Unihub highlights the potential of student-led initiatives in driving environmental awareness and sustainability. Hans’s commitment to these values will be recognized at the upcoming Tech Awards Ceremony on May 18, 2024, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Festive Walk Mall (Event Center, Ground Floor), Iloilo Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo.

The Tech Awards, an event celebrating innovation and technological advancement, is presented by the Global Shapers Community-Iloilo Hub, DEVCON Visayas, and Innovate Iloilo. It is sponsored by UMWAD Western Visayas, ICP Hubs Network Philippines, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry – Iloilo Chapter, Inc., Festive Walk Mall, and Iloilo Megaworld. The ceremony also receives support from the Iloilo City Government, ILED Foundation, NEDA-Region VI, and DICT Region VI.
