Enhancing Risk Management: CPU RCECC conducts two-day seminar

Last October 6-7, 2024, Central Philippine University Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (CPU-RCECC) successfully hosted a two-day national seminar on Risk Identification, Assessment, and Control in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS). The event, held at Diversion 21 Hotel in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, drew participants from various sectors, including institutions, colleges, local government units (LGUs), and companies across the country.

The seminar was organized by the Review, Continuing Education, and Consultancy Center (RCECC) in partnership with the Office for Institutional Advancement (OIA). The keynote speaker, Engr. Romeo M. Ramirez, provided valuable insights into the concept of risk-based thinking and its application in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Participants learned how to identify, assess, and control risks within their organizations. The seminar also emphasized the importance of integrating Sustainable Development Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) into QMS practices. By understanding and managing risks, organizations can enhance their operations, improve efficiency, and contribute to sustainable development.

The RCECC expressed gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and support. Together, they are driving innovation and strengthening risk management practices across various sectors.
