As the sun sets below the horizon, signalling the end of another day of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan, members of the CPUAA-UAE family from across the country convened on March 22, 2024, for a cherished tradition: the Iftar dinner. Held at the elegant Marriott Courtyard, World Trade Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The chapter officers and members alike graced the event with their presence, adding their unique warmth and energy to the festivities.
What made this year’s gathering particularly special was the notable presence of new members, eager to participate in the tradition woven by the CPUAA-UAE family. Their enthusiasm infused the evening with a renewed sense of vitality, highlighting the organization’s commitment to inclusivity and growth.
Amidst the festivities, the chapter took the opportunity to conduct a meeting. Discussions focused on the upcoming activities planned for the remainder of 2024 and the first half of 2025, with a particular emphasis on the status of the scholarship program, a cornerstone initiative by the chapter aimed at supporting financially challenged students in their academic pursuits.

It is worth mentioning that a good number of members and officers have expressed keen interest in joining the CPU Alumni Global Reunion in Toronto, Canada, on July 10–13, 2025. During our discussions, the group raised several questions regarding the requirements, schedule, and other logistical details. To address these queries and ensure clarity, we are planning to reach out to the CPU Alumni Association Greater Toronto Area (CPUAAGTA) for further information in the days to come.
This forthcoming event promises to be an exciting opportunity for all involved, offering the chance to connect and engage with CPU alumni from across the globe. As we eagerly anticipate this gathering, the prospect of spending time with fellow alumni fills us with anticipation and excitement for the meaningful connections and experiences that lie ahead.
Of course, no gathering would be complete without the exchange of smiles and warm wishes as members bid farewell, already looking forward to the next opportunity to come together. As we separated after the gathering, hearts full and spirits lifted, a sense of unity and belonging lingered, a testament forged by shared experiences and a common purpose.
