Dr. Pedregosa is the Corporate Secretary of the CPU Board of Trustees and the Hospital Director of Iloilo Mission Hospital.

CPU Board of Trustees Corporate Secretary Dr. Elmer Q. Pedregosa is now a member of the Board of Trustees of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines (PHAPi) for 2020-2022. The election was held on Monday, November 16, 2020, during the PHAPi 1st Virtual National Convention and Exhibition. Pedregosa was also elected Vice President for Visayas.

Dr. Pedregosa is currently the Hospital Administrator of Iloilo Mission Hospital. He is also a Healthcare Administrator/Consultant and a General Medical Practitioner. He is the President of the Private Hospital Association of the Philippines-Western Visayas Chapter; and held various positions such as President, Philippine Hospital Association, Western Visayas Council; and Vice President of Philippine Christian Health Association, Inc. Moreover, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Philippine Christian Health Association, Inc. and the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians-Iloilo Chapter.

He received several awards such as the Outstanding Alumnus Award-College of Arts and Sciences and the Centennial Service Award during the Centennial Celebrations in 2005. He earned his Master in Health Hospital Administration from Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business in 1999.

Dr. Pedregosa earned his Elementary Education from Pototan Pilot Elementary School in 1970 and his Secondary Education from Central Philippine University in 1974. He finished his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same university in 1978 and his Doctor of Medicine from West Visayas State University School of Medicine in 1983.

Born in Pototan, Iloilo, Dr. Pedregosa is the youngest of the five children of Mr. Elpidio Pedregosa and Mrs. Asuncion Quimba Pedregosa.
