The CPUAA-UAE Chapter alumni celebrate their 19 years as a chapter.

CPUAA-UAE Chapter joyfully convened for their 19th Year Gathering and Induction of Officers. The event was hosted at the Edge Creekside Hotel in Deira, Dubai, on March 2, 2024.

This year’s gathering, centered around the inspiring theme of “Building Bonds, Celebrating Success, and Uniting Central Spirits,” gathered Centralian alumni from across the United Arab Emirates, fostering a sense of camaraderie and celebrating shared successes.

Engr. Mildred Maravilla Majeed, its inaugural President is behind the alumni chapter’s inception in 2005 and, laid the foundation for a community that has since grown into a close-knit family, remaining active and engaged throughout the years.

The list of officers continues with Roxanne Joy Robles as Secretary, Engr. Madrigal Mandalawi as Assistant Secretary, Joy Casaquite as Treasurer, Jonathan Detaro as Assistant Treasurer, Gien Rose Vicencio as Auditor, Maria Lourdes Penero as Assistant Auditor, and Rezy Joy Tabanera as PRO. Alain Paul Andigan and Faith Ortigas take on significant roles as members of the Board of Directors.

Reflecting on the timely theme of the year, the chapter members express their belief that the emphasis on “Building Bonds, Celebrating Success, and Uniting Central Spirits” aligns perfectly with the induction of new members, providing an opportunity to strengthen connections, rejoice in achievements, and perpetuate the Central Spirit in the UAE.

As the Centralian community continues to thrive in this part of the globe, the 19th Year Gathering stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of unity, celebration, and growth among Centralians in the UAE.
