Central Philippine University will celebrate its 115th Foundation Day virtually. Cultural Affairs Office Director, Ms. Crista Huyong said that “We have already prepared several cultural presentations for the Foundation Day celebration – in accordance with the mandate of the Office of the President.”

A program for the Foundation Day will be held online via CPU TV Channel Facebook page starting on October 1. The CPU Excel Chorale and CPUR Dance Company will present musical and dance numbers on October 2, with an Ilonggo Cultural concept. “The virtual presentations will give our alumni worldwide a chance to watch the program from whatever part of the world they are. I am looking forward to the success of our Foundation Day Program online,” Huyong said.

Huyong, who also teaches music and art in the University, imparts her thoughts on the relationship of success and belief in God. “I think that the difficult situations brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic are all, but a chance to show our trust in God. He is giving us a chance to overcome and accept everything as a test on our faith.”

Complete details of the program will be announced soon.
