In 2021, despite the limitations brought about by the pandemic, an academic partnership was forged between Central Philippine University and National Taipei University of Education. The signing of MOU was a significant milestone for both universities for it would provide meaningful academic collaborations that will benefit the important stakeholders of CPU and NTUE.
This 128-year old University in Taipei is the oldest university in Taiwan specializing in programs in teacher training education. It has produced notable alumni including the Education Minister of Taiwan. Moreover, its strong internationalization programs have been contributing significant impact to Taiwan’s presence in the international arena.

The warm welcome extended to CPU’s visit on November 16, 2023 by the Division of International Affairs further strengthened the cordial relationship between the two institutions. It is hoped that CPU’s education programs would particularly benefit to this partnership as the visit included discussions on internships of students enrolled in BSED and BEED programs, short-term courses, and participations in international research conferences.
In 2021, NTUE hosted two CPU students for a 10-day virtual language and culture program.
