Central Philippine University was chosen as the Outstanding Regional Partner-Iloilo Branch for the Knowledge Resource Network Category by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) during the Awards and Ceremony and Appreciation Lunch for BSP Stakeholders in Region VI on September 17, 2019 at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. CPU Vice President received the award for Finance and Administration, Dr. Florence Bogacia.

The Outstanding Regional Partner in Knowledge Resources Network Award recognizes the efforts of partner schools or libraries that provided free information materials and online research assistance to the public to promote greater understanding of essential economic and financial concepts and issues. Guimaras State College and the Philippine College of Business and Accountancy were also finalists for the said award.

This has been the second time that the BSP has awarded CPU for the said category.
