CPU is one of the 15 universities from the Philippines included in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Asia 2022.

Central Philippine University is among the list of the best/top universities in Asia in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings Asia 2022 which was released on November 2, 2021.

CPU joined the 15 universities from the Philippines included in the ranking of said agency. For the second straight year, CPU is the only institution in the Western Visayas Region to have achieved this distinction with 651+ rank.

University President Dr. Teodoro C. Robles expressed his gratefulness to QS as well as his felicitations to CPU for this prestigious award. He emphasized that “the contributions of faculty members especially the scholarly works, research publications, and thesis dissertations of students” had an impact as to why CPU is visible and is being recognized in the world. Dr. Robles hoped that “the cooperation of everybody, here, will continue to make CPU known in the other parts of the world.”

Meanwhile, the Iloilo City government hailed CPU through a Facebook post by Mayor Jerry P. Treñas, “Congratulations CPU for providing quality education for students and nourishing their young minds,” he said.
