Central Philippine University holds the first-ever All College Dedication Service at the Rose Memorial Auditorium on May 14, 2023, where graduating students from different colleges as well as the faculty and staff joined in celebrating this momentous event.

Rev. Franz Hestia Lovejoy Q. Leysa, Youth Pastor of University Church served as speaker whereby she centered her scriptural message about Heeding the Call to Face Giants. In her message, she reminded us that “we must choose faith over our fears; look our circumstances through the eyes of faith, remain steadfast in the midst of challenges, and lastly face our giants.”

“No matter how big your problems are God is able to move that mountain for you,” she said.

Rev. Cris Amorsolo V. Sian, Senior Pastor, UC expressed that “Dedication Service is a traditional event of the university. The purpose is to dedicate the graduates to the Lord by praying for them and the things they learned from the speaker will help them with their character development, and strengthen their fides. It will also prepare them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.”

According to Rev. Sian, “This was the first time that all colleges were dedicated together since before it was clustered or done by college per Sunday. So far, there are still things we need to iron out, we will evaluate the results.”

The Commencement Program and the Baccalaureate Service are set to be scheduled on June 25, 2023.
