Centralian Girl Scouts delegates, in action at the Swiss Alps during the Chalet Summer Youth Program in Switzerland.
A few days after receiving her Josefa Llanes Escoda Trophy and Plaque, CPU JHS Student and Girls Scout Troop 312 Leader Milca Jane Cameseria was interviewed in CPU TV Public Affairs Program Looking Forward.
Her award included a “trip to anywhere in the world she wants to visit.” She said that “I want to visit Switzerland.” Milca, whose passion, aside from reading books was dedicating time for her Girls Scouts outreach projects; one of which was feeding poor children in some communities in Iloilo province. Milca graduated this year with Honors from The CPU Junior High School.
It is a “Dream come true” for Milca, when she was given a free trip to attend the Chalet Summer Youth Program in the Swiss Alps, Switzerland from July 30 to August 5, 2023. She is with her JSH Teacher Ghia Joy Bermejo and CPU Elementary Teacher Jeneth Zante; CPU JHS Students Faith Angel Veiss Torres and Julienne Ray Hyacinth Carvajal. Independent guests and delegates from other schools in Iloilo also attended the international Girl Scouts event in Switzerland.
