Congratulations to the CPU-ECE team for being awarded 1st runner-up in the ECE Math Olympiad 2024! CPU is proud of your achievement!
CPU-ECE Team achieved an impressive feat in this year’s ECE Math Olympiad 2024, securing the 1st runner-up in a competition featuring participants from various universities. Held on October 5, 2024, at the University of San Agustin Pavilion, the event was organized by the Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines Iloilo – Western Visayas Student Chapter (IECEP Iloilo – WVESC). With the theme “Amplifying Minds: Excellence in Electronics Engineering,” the competition aimed to bring out the best in the next generation of Electronics Engineers through rigorous academic challenges.
Participants came from several universities, including Central Philippine University (CPU), Filamer Christian University (FCU), Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U), University of Antique (UA), and University of San Agustin (USA). Representing CPU were ECE-2 students, namely Eyron Cabinbin, Lorence John Castro, Kearra Claire Matias, and Rhoem Ryle Tubongbanua, under the expert guidance of their mentors, Engr. Marian Mie Alimo-ot, Engr. Gelvie Lagos, Engr. Yeseil Sacramento, and Engr. Juicy Valdueza.
Congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance. Their success will undoubtedly inspire the next generation of students, sparking a passion for learning and motivating them to pursue even greater accomplishments in future Math Olympiads and other academic competitions.
