The seven (7) visiting scholars that were chosen from applicants of ATESEA member schools.

Centralians Jessie Yu and Francis Neil G. Jalando-on, both students of CPU School of Graduate Studies, Doctor of Ministry program, were among the selected participants for the Global Summer Institute of Theological and Intercultural Studies (GSITIS) 2023 at the Divinity School of Chung Chi College, Chinese University of Hong Kong from May 18 to June 30, 2023.

Qualified Theological educators and doctoral students from seminary members of Association for Theological Education in South East Asia (ATESEA) are eligible to join this program. There are 7 visiting scholars that were chosen from applicants from ATESEA member schools. Hence from ATESEA, Rev. Jalando-on and Jessie Yu are among the seven selected participants.

This program aims “to encourage exchanges of global and contextual perspectives on theological studies that promote epistemic justice and highlight epistemologies of the majority world.”
