CenVas Coordnator Efraim Alfaras presents the coffee painting outputs of the workshop participants at the Henry Luce III Library.

The Centralian Visual Artists Society (CenVas) Coffee Painting Workshop which was started with Faculty and Staff participants will continue to be conducted with other academic departments of CPU. According to CenVas coordinator and Art Instructor Efraim Alfaras, “This inspirational activity will continue to be shared to those who have not availed of the previous sessions.”

The successful faculty and staff coffee painting workshop in March was followed by the Medical Technology department on April 17 and the College of Nursing on April 27, both held at the American Corner. “We are currently scheduling the next art workshop, and this should be relevant to our upcoming celebration of the First Death Anniversary of former CPU President, Dr. Agustin A. Pulido”, said Alfaras.

The participants’ outputs on canvas are immediately exhibited at the Henry Luce III Library Ground Floor lobby. CenVas has been conducting coffee and other paint mediums at the malls with students, professionals and Senior Citizens. The Centralian art organization, Cenvas is supported by Central Philippine University under the Cultural Affairs Office headed by Prof Crista S. Huyong.
