The College of Commerce/College of Business and Accountancy held its 2nd Grand Alumni Homecoming on February 9, 2020, at the Iloilo Convention Center.

During the gathering, College of Business and Accountancy Dean, Dr. Lorna Grande, gave updates on the recent accomplishments of the college and its proposed project. CBA has gained its LEVEL IV Institutional Re-Accreditation status from ACSCU-ACI, formerly ACSCU-AAI (Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities-Accrediting Agency, Inc.), the college has also garnered a passing percentage higher than that of the national passing percentage during the recently concluded CPA Board Exam, the BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) has been recognized as a Center of Excellence in Business Administration by the Commission on Higher Education. She also challenged the Alumni of the College of Business and Accountancy to donate for the proposed College of Business and Accountancy Building.

Mr. Larry Lebiga (rank 1, 1977 CPA Board Exam) and Mr. Val Palma (rank 14, 2001 CPA Board Exam) CPA Board Exam Topnotchers were recognized in the said event. The College also acknowledged Mrs. Nellie Obligacion, donor for CBA Work Students.

The distinguished alumni of the College of Commerce, who have served the CPU Board of Trustees, were given their due recognition. They are: Mr. Noli Bajada (BS Commerce major in Accounting 1960), Chairman, Finance Committee 2016-2021; Atty. Peter Irving Corvera (Bachelor of Science in Commerce 1990), Chairman 2013-2017, Vice Chairman 2017-2021, and Atty. Von Lovel Bedona (Bachelor of Science major in Accounting 1978), Chairman Board of Trustees, 2017-2021.

The Board of Directors for the College of Business and Accountancy Alumni Association also elected their Board of Directors: Florence Bogacia, Sherlock Chan, Arvin De Leon, Renjo Debil, Mark Tristan Golena, Kim Gumban, Francis Neil Jalando-on, Hermely Jalando-on, Larry Lebiga, Evelyn Maranon, Noel Siosan, Louise Vail, Rex Velarde Jr., Geenalyn Chin Vista, and Stephen Yuson.

The 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming of the College of Commerce/ Business and Accountancy was held in 2005 during the Centennial Year of Central Philippine University.
