Engr. Jaj Hiponia Sentina, a BS EE 2019 graduate of CPU, is Rank 2 in the September 2021 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination. He also passed the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination.
The new Centralian engineer is thankful to CPU and to God for the achievement that he got. He said, “To my school, Central Philippine University, thank you for instilling in me an exemplary Christian education for life. To my teachers, thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills. To the faculty and staff, thank you for the support and guidance. To my classmates, batchmates, and fellow Centralians, thank you for sticking with me in both good and challenging times. To my family, relatives and friends thank you for always believing in my capabilities even if sometimes I doubted myself. And most of all, thank you God for everything.”
Engr. Ceasar Rico S. Acanto, Chairperson, Department of Electrical Engineering, has these words for Engr. Sentina, “This is a testament that if you work with passion, you will succeed. A nurse who dreamt to be an engineer, achieved with flying colors.” Engr. Dany C. Molina, Dean of the College of Engineering, is grateful to God for the opportunity to mold the next generation of Centralian engineers.
The passing percentage of the university is 75% with 3 out of 4 takers in the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination while the passing percentage of the university is 100% with 4 out of 4 takers Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination. The national passing percentage for REE is 64.40% while in the RME is 67.44%.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 1,668 out of 2,590 passed the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination and 1,506 out of 2,233 passed the Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this September 2021.
