Leida Mae Sangco-Masikat, CPU alumnus and product of College of Nursing Batch 1993 was chosen as Director of Nursing of the Year 2019 by the Long Term Care Nurses Association.

Leida Mae Sangco-Masikat, a CPU alumnus and product of College of Nursing Batch 1993 was chosen as Director of Nursing of the Year 2019 by the Long Term Care Nurses Association (LCTA).

The Annual Nursing Awards Program of LTCA recognizes outstanding nurses who have proven to be dedicated, hardworking and compassionate while caring for facility residents in an ever-changing long term care environment.

Sangco-Masikat is currently a Director of Nursing at Warren Barr in Lincolnshire, Illinois.

She will receive her award during the 69th Annual Illinois Healthcare Association (IHCA) Convention & Expo on September 11, 2019 at Springfield, Illinois.
