Singer-songwriter Ethan Loukas, a CPU alumnus bagged the “Best Interpreter” award during the ASOP (A Song of Praise) Music Festival on November 10, 2019, at the New Frontier Theater, Cubao, Quezon City.

Loukas interpreted the song “God Has His Purpose” written by Lambert Reyes Jr. and Roman Cundangan.” The song is about keeping one’s faith in God despite all the trials you have experienced in life and believing that He has a purpose for everything,” Cundangan said.

Loukas bested 11 other artists for the said category and took home 50,000 pesos.

Now in its 8th year, the ASOP (A Song of Praise) Music Festival is the only praise songwriting festival on Philippine television.
