The Central Philippine University Dance Company performed at UP’s “Paskua 2022’’, the first festival of lights of the University of the Philippines Visayas, at 5:30 PM on December 5, 2022.

The event was participated by universities and colleges in Iloilo City; among them Central Philippine Univerity, John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation, St. Paul’s University, University of San Agustin, Western Institute of Technology, West Visayas State University, University of the Philippines. Each school presented their choral group and the CPU Dance Company showed their Christmas dance medley, with a finale based from “Glee the musical”, but of a Christmas version. The UP officials and alumni and other head and members of the performers expressed loudly during the CPUDC performance. It was cheered upon by spectators because of their colorful, lively and one of a kind presentation.

The group received a certificate of participation together with their artistic director Prof. Randy Lero and CPU Cultural Affairs Office Director Ms. Crista S. Huyong.
