The Central Echo won 10 awards during the recently concluded National Campus Press Olympiad 2021. An awarding ceremony took place virtually from June 26 to 27.

The  competition is composed of 10 side events which comprised a wide range of journalism and creative contests that promote critical and artistic thinking. There are also 15 main events that covered interactive multimedia publishing, mobile journalism, and print and visual media.

NCPO 2021 is organized by the Best Designed Campus Papers of the Philippines. This year’s event was the first ever country-wide online journalism tournament that featured series of competitions for grade school, high school, and college students.
