CPU Kindergarten holds Parents and Pupils’ Recognition Day

This years’ CPU Kindergarten Recognition Day was held at the University Church on March 13, 2018. This has been looked forward to by the parents and guardians of children who are admirably talented and intelligent.

The Processional March into the University Church started at 8:30 AM and was followed with an invocation by Pastor Gnezel B. Dela Torre (K-Parent). Rev. Joniel Howard H. Gico, CPU VP for Student Affairs welcomed the guests, parents and teachers.

The Guest Speaker Dr. Carmen P. Santos delivered an Inspirational Message, citing the parents for their support and struggle in bringing up their children with the right education which begins in the kindergarten. Dr. Santos is one of the loyal benefactors of CPU and continuously supports the University’s development in education and other projects.

The Value Awards were the Batang Masigasig Awards, Batang Maasahan Awards, Eager Beaver Award, Friendly Neighbor Award and many others. The awards were given by Rev. Joniel Howard H. Gico, VP for Student Affairs and Prof. Hannah C. Siosan, Kindergarten Principal.

Dr. Santos and Prof. Siosan recognized and gave the awards for CPU Kindergarten-Honor Parents 2018. They were called according to the year they graduated. Awards of recognition were also given to students who have spent three years of schooling in the CPU Kindergarten School.

Pastor Mary Grace F. Labis, CPU Chaplain gave the Closing Prayer and Benediction. Before the recessional, K2 Pupil MJ Gwen Amber Plana led the singing of the Alma Mater Song.
