Elected officers of the CPU Rank and File Labor Union–Federation of Free Workers (CPURAFLU–FFW) pose for a photo opportunity following their successful General Assembly and Election of Officers held at the Educational Media Center Conference Room.
The CPU Rank and File Labor Union–Federation of Free Workers (CPURAFLU–FFW) successfully conducted its General Assembly and Election of Officers on April 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Educational Media Center Conference Room.
The activity gathered union members in a spirit of solidarity and shared commitment to advancing the welfare and professional interests of the University’s rank-and-file employees. The assembly served as a venue to discuss key concerns, organizational plans, and future initiatives, culminating in the election of a new set of officers who will lead the union in the coming term.
Elected to serve as President is Ma. Victoria G. Bellosillo, who will serve her second term, joined by Vice President Stephen A. Yuson, Ligaya Villarias-Caniel was elected Secretary, with Ada Mae G. Santiago as Assistant Secretary.
The union’s financial responsibilities will be managed by Treasurer Leonance E. Cataluña and Assistant Treasurer Jennifer M. Ortiaga. Rushelle Joy G. Celerian was elected Auditor, with Eladio Y. Bordon, Jr. as Assistant Auditor.
Rona S. Sapio will serve as Business Manager, assisted by Wilna Claire R. Aranez as Assistant Business Manager. Overseeing communication and information dissemination are Public Relations Officer Norie S. Gonzales and Assistant Public Information Officer Kathleen Joy C. Jimena.
Serving as Sergeants-at-Arms are Shannen Alexandria S. Baylen and Jose Rolly A. Nobleza, who will help maintain order during meetings and official activities.
Completing the leadership team are the members of the Board of Directors: Efraim G. Alfaras, Roderick G. Pauya, Elwin B. Garcia, Jerick A. Jornadal, and Tina Marie P. Hortelano.
With a renewed mandate from its members, the newly elected officers are expected to strengthen unity within the organization, uphold the rights and welfare of employees, and foster constructive engagement with the University administration. The General Assembly concluded with a shared vision of collaboration, transparency, and continued service to the rank-and-file community.
