With bright smiles and eager hearts, young learners proudly received eco-friendly learning kits during the successful implementation of Project E-Modyul 5.0 at Badiang Elementary School in New Lucena, Iloilo.

On June 11, 2026, the CPU Republic successfully conducted Project E-Modyul 5.0 at Badiang Elementary School in New Lucena, Iloilo, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. The initiative was spearheaded by the Prime Minister of the CPU Republic 21st Parliament, Jaylord F. Lampa, in collaboration with the League of Governors (LOG) and the Federation of Vice Governors (FVG), whose collective leadership made the outreach program possible.

The initiative marked the fifth year of the League of Governors’ flagship environmental outreach program, which was first launched in 2021, and the second consecutive year of collaboration between the League of Governors and the Federation of Vice Governors. This year’s project was headed by the CPU Republic, in partnership with the League of Governors and the Federation of Vice Governors, reflecting a united commitment to expanding the program’s impact and strengthening sustainable, community-centered leadership.

Project E-Modyul continues to promote environmental responsibility by transforming discarded tarpaulins into durable eco-bags, demonstrating how recyclable materials can be given a meaningful second life while benefiting communities. This year’s outreach served more than 150 beneficiaries from Kindergarten to Grade 6, providing each learner with recycled tarpaulin eco-bags containing school supplies, hygiene kits, personal storybooks such as Bibles, and educational bugtong-bugtong materials to support both learning and character formation.

Beyond the distribution of educational resources, the activity reflected the CPU Republic’s enduring commitment to responsible leadership, innovation, and environmental stewardship. By integrating sustainability with education, the project encouraged young learners to appreciate the value of environmental conservation while equipping them with essential learning materials for the upcoming school year.

The program featured interactive activities, educational discussions, and meaningful engagements with the pupils, creating an enjoyable and enriching learning experience. Through the collective efforts of the CPU Republic, the League of Governors, and the Federation of Vice Governors, the outreach fostered a spirit of volunteerism, collaboration, and service among student leaders while creating a meaningful impact within the community.

Building on the legacy of the previous four years, Project E-Modyul 5.0 continues to demonstrate how student leadership can translate environmental advocacy into tangible community impact. What began as an initiative to recycle unused materials has grown into a sustainable outreach program that empowers young learners while promoting environmental consciousness and social responsibility.

As the CPU Republic, the League of Governors, and the Federation of Vice Governors continue to strengthen their partnership, Project E-Modyul remains a testament to the University’s vision of creating meaningful and lasting change through collaborative leadership. Through initiatives that combine sustainability, education, and community service, the CPU Republic continues to help shape a future where both people and the planet can thrive together.
