Central Philippine University formally dedicated its newly installed air conditioning units during a thanksgiving and dedication ceremony held at 4:00 p.m. on June 22, 2026, in front of the Wind Energy Facility beside the College of Engineering.

The program opened with a call to gather, followed by the singing of the doxology and an opening prayer led by Pastor Neva Grace L. Fabila. Participants offered thanksgiving for God’s continued provision and prayed that the new facilities would promote comfort, peace, productivity, and fellowship throughout the campus.

University President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy delivered the Words of Thanksgiving, thanking those who contributed to the completion of the project and emphasizing the responsible use and stewardship of the University’s facilities.

Vice President for Administration Engr. Dany C. Molina also expressed appreciation to everyone who contributed to the installation of the air conditioning units and recognized the cooperation of individuals who made the project possible.

Representing the air conditioning contractor, Engr. Roel Arnold Reynoso thanked the University for the opportunity to be part of the project and affirmed the team’s commitment to ensuring the quality and reliability of the installations.

CPU Republic President Reanna Gabriella Guanzon conveyed the students’ appreciation for the improved classroom facilities, noting that the upgraded learning environment will contribute to students’ comfort and academic productivity.

A dedication litany followed, during which prayers were offered for the benefactors, administrators, installation team, faculty, staff, students, and guests who will benefit from the new facilities. The congregation also prayed for the proper care, maintenance, and responsible use of the air conditioning units, dedicating them to the glory of God and the service of the University community.

The ceremony concluded with the Prayer of Dedication and Benediction before Engr. Molina conducted an orientation on the policies governing the use of classroom air conditioning units. The orientation emphasized the importance of responsible operation and maintenance to ensure the long-term sustainability of the newly installed facilities.

The dedication reflects the University’s continuing efforts to improve campus facilities while fostering an environment that supports learning, productivity, and responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to the University.
