The stage is set for Voyager 2025: the 18th Robosphere, where creativity, innovation, and responsible tourism come to life through dynamic student-led performances and presentations.

To mark the 18th founding anniversary of the College of Hospitality Management (CHM), second-year students from HPC 2206 – Introduction to MICE – took the lead in organizing this year’s VOYAGER 2025: the 18th Robosphere, held last May 5, 2025, at the Rose Memorial Auditorium.

With the theme “An Era of Sustainable and Modernized Adoption of Responsible Tourism,” this year’s celebration was all about mixing creativity, innovation, and fun—showing how CHM students can turn bold ideas into unforgettable experiences. Voyager is CHM’s annual College Day celebration, and this year’s batch made sure it lived up to the hype.

The morning session kicked off with a warm welcome, followed by inspiring talks from industry professionals. Ms. Liv A. Cepe, a Consulting Practice Manager at Oracle NetSuite, talked about AI in Tourism, while Dr. Albert J. Causo, a robotics expert, shared insights on Practical Robotics for Tourism. Their talks opened everyone’s eyes to how tech is changing the tourism scene.

Students also showcased original productions, videos, and sponsor promos that highlighted the role of AI and robotics in tourism. The energy in the room was high, and the first raffle draw added even more excitement.

Before the afternoon session officially began, the crowd was treated to an energizing intermission number by CHM’s very own Dancing Flight Attendants, getting everyone hyped and ready for the second half. This was followed by a special segment: Delivering Insights from our Exchange Professor from Indonesia, Prof. Rulli Krisnanda, S.Tr. Par, mM., CHBA, CHE. His presence and message added a global perspective to the event, reminding everyone that tourism is truly a worldwide effort.

In the afternoon, the spotlight turned to the TPC 3209: Transportation Management class, who held their culminating activity featuring interactive booths, marketing displays, and performances focused on Land, Air, and Sea Transportation. It wasn’t just an exhibit—it was an immersive showcase of what the future of travel could look like.

Games, competitions, and a second raffle draw kept everyone on their toes. Then came the grand finale: the Techno-Themed Fashion Runway from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. It was a visual feast of creativity—from CPU-CHM uniforms to robot-inspired outfits and original fashion designs by students. The crowd cheered as each model walked the stage, proving that tourism and tech can be stylish too.

Voyager 2025 wrapped up with heartfelt messages from the student organizers. Overall Chairperson Jazmine Chloe R. Gallardo and Fashion Chairperson Angel Kristine B. Ang expressed their thanks and pride, closing the day with a reminder of what CHM is all about—passion, innovation, and excellence.
