Congratulations to Dr. Ananias C. Sabijon, Jr., PhD, CPU-CTLE Director, on receiving the Certificate of Registration as a Registered Editor, Author, Writer, and Subject Matter Expert from the National Book Development Board (NBDB) – Philippines!

Dr. Ananias C. Sabijon, Jr., LPT, Director of the Central Philippine University Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CPU-CTLE), has been granted a Certificate of Registration as Registered Editor, Author, Writer, and Subject Matter Expert by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) – Philippines.

As stated in the Certificate of Registration granted by the NBDB Philippines signed by its Executive Director, Charisse Aquino-Tugade, Dr. Sabijon “has met the qualification required under the RA 8047 or the Book Publishing Industry Development Act, and has been granted its Certificate of Registration as Author/Writer, Editor, and Subject Matter Expert, with all the rights and privileges…provided by RA 8047, and the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of the Philippines.”

As Director of the CPU-CTLE, Dr. Sabijon also serves as Chairperson of the University Review of Instructional Materials Committee. This committee reviews books and other instructional resources submitted by educators and authors, carefully evaluates their quality, and recommends those that meet the University approved criteria and standards to the University President for approval and student use.

In addition, Dr. Sabijon also works as a faculty and serves as the Program Head of the Doctor of Education (EdD), major in Curriculum and Instruction at the School of Graduate Studies, at Central Philippine University.

As a researcher and author, Dr. Sabijon has presented his work at both local and international conferences and seminars and has published research articles in refereed and reputable journals. His research interests encompass curriculum development, instructional leadership, science teaching, teaching evaluation standards and educational administration. He is also one of the authors and editors of We Are CPU: Our Reasons for Being (2023 edition and 2024 revised edition).

Dr. Sabijon extends his heartfelt gratitude to CPU President Rev. Dr. Ernest Howard B. Dagohoy for his unwavering support of the programs and activities of the CPU-CTLE.
